The final day of the summer transfer window for the 2025-2026 season witnessed unprecedented activity, as Saudi Roshn League clubs completed 21 deals at once on September 10th, making the closing of the transfer window full of excitement and suspense.
Al-Najma club was the star of the show, after opening the transfer window by signing Brazilian winger Lazaro Vinicius, and closing it by loaning Al-Shabab player Hisham Al Dubais.
Al-Najma club also announced the signing of Brazilian Victor Braga, the former Al-Tai goalkeeper, to strengthen the goalkeeping position.
Eight clubs moved to strengthen their ranks before the closing of the transfer window, namely: Al-Taawoun, Al-Najma, NEOM, Al-Fateh, Al-Shabab, Al-Hazm, Al-Fayha, and Al-Ittihad, while the rest of the clubs preferred to stick with their previous signings.
Al-Taawoun club topped the list of most active, completing six deals including:
Ecuadorian striker Cristopher Zambrano Full-backs Bassam Al-Hariji and Mishaal Al-Alaili Midfielders Victor Hugo (Brazilian) and Romain Faivre (French). Defender Mohammed Al-DosariAl-Shabab club announced three deals on the final day, signing French midfielder Yacine Adli and Englishman Josh Brownhill, in addition to full-back Saad Balabed from Al-Ahli.
NEOM club announced that their Polish goalkeeper Marcin Bułka suffered an ACL tear, prompting them to quickly sign two goalkeepers: Portuguese Luis Maximiano and Saudi Raed Azibi, along with strengthening the attack with Uruguayan striker Luciano Rodriguez from Brazilian club Bahia.
Al-Fateh: Signed Spanish goalkeeper Fernando Pacheco and Cameroonian striker Karl Toko Ekambi, former Al-Ittifaq player. Al-Fayha: Signed Venezuelan defender Mikel Villanueva and midfielder Stelios Verondis. Al-Ittihad: Completed their deals by signing Serbian defender Karlo Simić.
